Getting message on Aircards "Driver is not digitally signed" on Windows 7 or Vista with Smartview Version 2.28
This happened with a Novatel ex720 on a windows 7 64 bit computer. Other card tested was a Sierra Compass 597 and worked fine with Smartview Version 2.28
Removed card, Restart Computer
As soon as the computer starts showing signs of turning on, press the F8 key multilple times until you get a screen that says “Advanced Boot Options”.
Using the arrows, scroll down to the option “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” and press on enter.
Windows should start.
Open Smartview, connect to the internet.
Go to www.sprint.com/downloads
Click on Smart devices, go to any blackberry and download the Smartview.
This is version 2.25 which has the digitally signed drivers need to run this connection card on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 64 bit computer.
